"My goal is to create a ceremony with you that you will cherish with great memories of your wedding day. Together we will create the ceremony you want. From a very romantic and traditional ceremony through to an alternative ceremony, including candles, roses, wine, aromatherapy, crystals, flower essences, symbolic offerings or blessings, it is your vision and what you want that inspires me in writing and presenting your ceremony."
For a wedding or commitment ceremony, the vows you speak should resonate deep within you and be a joy to follow. Setting the flow and words of the ceremony sets intention for these next steps in the journey of your life. Marriage is a rite of passage and is a joyful and uplifting occasion. Your ceremony can be lighthearted and still acknowledge the depth of the commitment you make to each other.
A ceremony from the heart can bring you to those still moments of celebration that give life meaning, where you walk a path of love and connect with those loved ones who come to witness your journey.
Small and intimate, or large and festive, spiritual or non-religious, traditional or modern, or themed, together we craft a ceremony that is truly yours.
I can also offer you ideas for eco-friendly weddings, important at this time for our earth, or include an acknowledgement of country in your ceremony.
The wonder of a civil ceremony is that the variations on ceremony are endless - I can include just about anything you like as long as itÂs legal.
I will give you resources to help you plan your ceremony and as much guidance as you need, and incorporate your ideas into your ceremony.
And, of course, I attend to all of the legal paperwork for you, including registering the marriage afterwards.
On the day, I arrive early to help greet your family and friends. I liaise with the venue provider (unless you are getting married in one of nature's cathedrals, when I will still ask the elements to be kind!). After the ceremony, I present you with your certificate and leave you with my very best wishes, so you can move on to celebrating with your guests.
You are welcome to email me obligation-free for a quote and to arrange a free consultation to see if I am the right celebrant for you.
My fee for your wedding starts at $407 with extra for travel over 40km each way. 41km up to 60km travel each way costs an extra $20; 61km up to 80km each way costs an extra $40 and travel over 80km each way will be $40 plus $1 per km to cover time and travel costs. For remote locations, my fee may include fares, transfer costs to islands, airfares and accommodation. I also have a deluxe package for $527.
